Hello. See how this page is titled “Help us out”? Well it should be “Help me out”. For this site is owned and run by me, myself and I. I’m Mark Walsh. You can read my personal blog here. And I am a broke student who has neither the time nor money to promote this site as much as I’d like to. This is where you come in.

This site has gotten members and visitors almost entirely by word of mouth. I haven’t spent a cent on promoting. I want this to continue, so if there are any kind souls out there that want to help me with this, read on to find out how you can give me a hand.

- Submit stories.
Submit your stories. Honestly, everyone's got a few funny stories. Submit them.

Tell your friends. Simple, just tell them. In person, by email, whatever you like. Tell ‘em all. Another really handy way to spread the word is by putting a link to the site as your facebook status, or msn tagline, or in your signature on forums. Honestly, this stuff really helps.

- Join the Facebook page and follow us on Twitter
If you become a fan on facebook, it’s good for two reasons. 1) Your friends see this, they check out the page, check out the site, become fans, and this repeats with their friends. Before you know it we’ll have taken over the world.
2) It’s a nice little ego boost for me to log on and see the page having lots of fans. So as I sit there, in my little bedroom, wearing only my boxer shorts, shovelling stale cereal into my mouth, looking at my laptop, I can think to myself “All these people are fans of something I’ve made”. It’s nice, y’know?
Also, once you join, invite your friends. The more you invite, the better.

Really though, it only takes a second, and it's very helpful. I don't bother y'all with emails or anything. I post a funny status every now and then, that's all. Any everyone'll think you're so cool for joining. Promise.

- Social Bookmarking
If anyone uses stumbleupon, it's incredibly helpful to stumble the site (and the subpages such as the 'top stories' or even individual stories).
Any other sites like Digg etc are helpful too.
